OJITOS MENTIROSOS  is the latest publication by  artist Bayrol Jimenez. This limited edition features 100 printed copies created with 8-color risography: aqua, red, yellow, brown, green, black, blue, and fluorescent pink. Part of the La Vecindad Collection, this 40-page artist book measures 26 x 19 cm.

Bayrol Jiménez (Oaxaca, Mexico) studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving La Esmeralda and the National School of Art Villa Arson in Nice, France. His graphic and pictorial work combines compositions that blend mythology with contemporary political and social themes, exploring relationships between animals, plants, humans, and their cultural context.

Hand-bound and crafted by Polvoh Press, this is a striking addition to any collection of contemporary artist books.
